Shruti Haasan has been openly speaking about mental health and the importance of a balanced lifestyle for years. Through her honest conversations, she continues to highlight how emotional well being is just as important as physical health.
On the global front, several celebrities have made headlines for similar reasons one of them being Justin Bieber. His unusual public behavior in recent times has raised concern among fans and brought attention to the emotional struggles that often stay hidden behind the spotlight. His actions have reminded people that no amount of fame can shield someone from mental health challenges.
Shruti Haasan gives a wider perspective on Justin Bieber
While fans seem divided some celebrating the release of Justin Bieber’s SWAG album, others feeling uneasy about his recent social media behavior actress Shruti Haasan brought a more thoughtful perspective to the table. During a candid conversation on The Ranveer Show podcast hosted by Ranveer Allahbadia (BeerBiceps), Shruti was asked about her thoughts on what Bieber has been going through in recent months.
Though she admitted she doesn’t resonate with his music, Shruti expressed empathy for him on a human level. “I don’t like his music. And I don’t know him, so I have no opinion,” she said honestly, later adding, “It’s too happy. I think I heard that first song of his Baby and it just put me off.”
This is not just about Justin Bieber a global mental health crisis.
During the conversation, Ranveer Allahbadia pointed out that not everyone truly understands what Justin Bieber has been going through, and asked Shruti Haasan if she had seen any of the viral videos circulating online. Shruti responded with honesty and empathy, saying,
“You know, the thing is, and I’ve always said this… not to play the boo-hoo card, but the world is going through a very difficult phase right now. Everyone, in their own way, is struggling.”
She further explained that the only difference is visibility. “When there’s a camera on you, it becomes more obvious. But I promise you, it’s not a Justin Bieber thing it’s a planetary problem,” she said, underlining the reality that mental health challenges aren’t exclusive to celebrities.
Shruti highlighted that while Bieber’s struggles often make headlines, millions of others face similar emotional battles in silence, away from the spotlight. Her words shed light on the growing mental health crisis and the importance of empathy not just for public figures, but for each other.
